THE FAIR FIELD FOUNDATION

The Fair Field Foundation was founded in 2022 to address the lack of support for women in the archaeological community. Since then, the Foundation has created both in-person and virtual events, as well as mentorship opportunities, to champion and celebrate women and all marginalized individuals in the field and beyond. 

Each January, the foundation connects experienced mentors with mentees seeking general guidance and support as they navigate their careers. Creating a community where archaeologists can build a sustainable and fulfilling future is at the heart of the Foundation’s mission.
